Working together to enhance teaching & learning. If you need additional assistance, please reach out to the ID&D team.

If you setup a MyClasses assignment for students to submit their work online and you forget to or otherwise opt out of using Turnitin to check their assignments for plagiarism, but changed your mind, you can enable the option of using Turnitin after assignments have been submitted. Please keep in mind:

  • You can only do this with MyClasses assignments that are submitted online using the file upload or text entry submission types.

  • File uploads must be in one of the following file types that are compatible with Turnitin:

    • Text (.txt)

    • Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx)

    • Microsoft PowerPoint (.ppt/.pptx)

    • Portable Document Format (.pdf)

    • Rich Text Format (.rtf)
