When student names are split, the Last Name column can still be sorted by type and order. You can also display secondary information such as Username. When split names are enabled, separate columns for the split names are respected and displayed in the Gradebook CSV export.

Step-by-step guide

1. In On the Course Navigation menu, click the select Grades tab

2. Click the View menu and click select the Split Student Namestab option.

3.  Once enabled, the gradebook will display the last and first name in separate columns.

4. If you want to combine the names, repeat step 2 and unclick the Split Student Names tab option.
