This guide provides step-by-step guide to create PowerPoint polling questions using TurningPoint pointsolutions Classic Desktop Apps . TurningPoint pointsolutions should be installed on classrooms and labs computers, if you can't locate the application icon on the desktop, search for it using the search box on the computer's task bar.

Starting

PointSolutions Classic:

  1. Double click the TurningPoint PointSolutions App icon
  2. Click Sign in

  3. Enter your SU Email

  1. Enter your SU username and password



    If prompted, Authenticate with DueDuo.



    The TurningPoint pointsolutions Dashboard Opens.

From the TP PS Dashboard, you can open PowerPoint and start creating TurningPoint pointsolutions polling questions using the TurningPoint pointsolutions add-in (before class), or you can start a polling session (during class).

  1. Click the Start now button for PowerPoint Polling from the Dashboard. PowerPoint will start.

  2. Start a new presentation or open an existing PowerPoint presentation.
  3. Select the location to add a question slide.

  4. Click New in the TurningPoint PointSolutions ribbon.

  5. Select Question Type



  6. Enter question text in field provided.
  7. Enter answer text in field(s) provided.
  8. Select options from the Question Options panel on the right.



  9. Save and close your presentation.

Slide Types and Slide Preferences

There are several slide/question types available for PowerPoint Polling using TurningPoint pointsolutions Classic App. Each slide type has specific preferences.
