Creating a Question Group Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Open the Respondus file containing the questions
  2. Click on the Settings Tab at the top of Respondus. Then click the Question Groups link.                                                                                                                                                                                                 Question Groups link is highlighted.                                   

      The following window will open:                                                                                                                                                                                          The options for creating question sets and adding questions to those question sets.
    1. From the Random Blocks setting, select Add New Set.
    2. Enter the number of the question to be used at the beginning of the set.
    3. Enter the number of the question to be used at the end of the set.
    4. Enter how many questions total will be used for the exam.
    5. Enter to point value for the questions in the set.
    6. Select Add New Set.

      Note: You will then see a list of the newly created Question Group/Set, indicated by Set letter “A.” Repeat the steps above if you’d like to add another question set, when completed these will be indicated by another letter.

  3. Click OK to continue creating your test.
