You can create a template document in OneDrive to assign to students so that they can create unique submissions for an assignment. A OneDrive assignment will duplicate the document, slide deck, or spreadsheet you assign for each student to edit/update for assignment completion.

To Create a OneDrive Assignment:

You must first have the OneDrive LTI tool enabled in your course.

  1. Click on Assignments from your course menu:

  2. Click Add Assignment and enter assignment details (e.g. Title, Description, point value, due date):

  2. A OneDrive folder will open where you can check the box next to the file you want students to use for their assignment. Then click Attach File:

  2. An Office 365 URL will auto-fill the URL field. Check the box next to Load in a New Tab and click Select:
