  1. Within a module, create a new Page where you would like to embed the Panopto recording.

    1. Click on the + sign on the top right side of the Module you wish to add a recording to.

    2. Select “Add Page to Module X” from the dropdown box. Click on [New Create Page] and type in a name for the page that will display the recording. Click Add Item.

      A drop down menu is selected to add a Page. The Pages in the course are listed below with the first item being the option to create a New Page, which is selected.     3. The Page for your Panopto will be added to the bottom of the selected Module (it will be unpublished). Click on the Name of the Page. Click Edit.

  2. Within the text editor, select the Panopto iconif visible OR the “More External Tools” icon  and icon and select Panopto Recordings as seen below.

    From the edit ribbon, a downward facing arrow (or a V) is highlighted with a dropdown menu. Panopto Recordings is a highlighted item in the dropdown. Image Removed

    1. Depending on your monitor size, you may not see the Panopto icon. If that’s the case, select the three dots to the furthest right, and the icon should appear.

  3. Be sure your Canvas course folder is selected from the drop-down menu, and select the recording you would like to embed by clicking the radio button to the left of the recording.

  4. Select Insert from the bottom right hand corner. You will be taken back to the text editor.

  5. Select Save  or or Save and Publish to embed the recording into the content area.
