This list of instructions is to show how students can create an account to access their micro-credential.

A student recipient will receive an email indicating that they earned a badge/micro-credential. Pictured below is an example of the email in which they will receive and includes:
a. the title of the micro-credential they earned
b. the College or School in which they student earned the honor
c. the date when the micro-credential was issued
Pictured above is an example of a Dean’s List Badge.
After reading the email, click Go to the Badge.
The student will be prompted to sign in or create an account. Since all individuals as of Fall 2024 will be new, the student should select Create an account.
Use your SU student email (@gulls.salisbury.edu) to create an account and then click Continue.
A verification code will be sent to your student email.

b. Input the code into the boxes and then click Verify.
Students will be asked to fill in their First and Last name, and then create a strong password for the account. Select the checkbox to agree to the “I have read and agreed to the terms of service”. Then click Create Account.
Congratulations! Your micro-credential will appear. Pictured below is an example of a Dean’s List badge. a. The heading on the page will display your micro-credential
b. Below the heading, you will see the student's name and their SU email address.
c. The student will be notified of the criteria needed to achieve the micro-credential.
