There are several ways to organize the content of your course. This includes course navigation as well as the delivery of the resources, activities, and assignments within the course. In determining course organization, you will want to consider the following questions:
What you want students to see when they first enter the course (and when they click 'Home')?
What course navigation do you want to be available to students?
How do you want to organize information in your course?
How do you want students to find the resources, assignments, and activities you provide?
The majority of faculty will use the Modules area to add content pages, files, and various graded activities. Pages provide the ability to create content, similar to using Word, directly within MyClasses. Using the Rich Content Editor, you can create and edit information to display to students as well as link to files, assignments, discussions and other areas within the course.
In this section are several examples of how course content can be organized in MyClasses to reflect your approach to teaching:
As a Repository (In-Person Delivery)
By Lecture Schedule (In-Person Delivery)
By Week - Time-Based (Hybrid, Remote or Online Delivery)
By Module/Unit - Content Based (Hybrid, Remote or Online Delivery)
By Activity Type (Hybrid, Remote or Online Delivery)
Each of these approaches are supported in MyClasses using the features described in each of the articles in this section. In some cases, you may want to use features of more than one approach.
