The Grade Posting Policy is a feature in the gradebook that allows you to determine when students see grades and feedback for assignments. The default for all assignments is to post grades automatically, where students see grades and feedback as soon as you enter it. You can also choose to post grades manually, where grades and feedback will remain hidden from students until you manually post them to specific students, sections, or everyone.

Note: If you select the option to post grades to everyone, then if you enter any new grades, they will automatically post to students immediately.

  1. In your course, go to the Gradebook

  2. Hover over the assignment column and click on the Options icon
