How does door access on campus work?
There are 2 main types of door readers on campus:
Onity: Those door readers that you put your card into the door lock on the handle. A green light when you enter and remove your card from the reader signifies that you have access to the door and can open the door.
Proximity: Those door readers that you hold your card against the black square (exterior) or the black part of the door handle where the reader is located. A green light signifies that you have access to the door and can open the door when your card is presented.
