Students with documented accommodations are often allowed for additional time on an exam. Below you will find instructions for giving additional time for assessments in your course.

  1. Within your course, select Quizzes.

  2. Click on the title of the specific New Quiz assessment.

  3. After selecting the quiz, click Build in the bottom right corner.

  4. Then select Moderate from the top right of the upper menu.

  5. Click Moderate next to the student's name who would like to give extra time to.

  6. In the Moderation menu, select Give Additional Time from the Time Adjustments drop down options.

  7. Select the correct amount of additional time needed.

  8. The Moderation page will not reflect the additional time change for the student.

You can also give additional time or a time multiplier for each test, for a student, through this menu. 

  1. Select the pencil icon across from a students name to edit the time constraints for every quiz or exam.

  2. Select either Give additional time or Time Limit Multiplier from the drop down menu. Here we have selected Time Limit Multiplier and have given the student time and a half to complete every quiz or exam.

  2. The change will now be reflected on the Moderation page.
