Method 2: Migrate during import/course copy process step-by-step guide
In your MyClasses course, select Settings from the course navigation.
Select Import Course Content under the right Course Status.
On the Import Content page:
Select Copy a Canvas Course from the drop-down options for Content Type.
Locate or select the previous course in which you want to copy the content.
Select either All content or Select specific content to identify the elements you want to import.
Ensure the Import existing quizzes as New Quizzes is selected.
Click Import.
Once the progress bar of the import is finished, navigate to Quizzes on the course navigation. You will notice that your assessments are in the process of being converted.
Once the process is complete, review each New Quiz to ensure everything transferred over correctly. If you receive an error message such as "Oops! Something went wrong importing ...", then you might need to use Method 1 to migrate that particular assessment. At anytime if you need assistance, please contact ID&D.
