Instructors may want students upload recordings of themselves in discussions. There are two ways for students to upload their recordings. Using the MyClasses Canvas feature or using Panopto.

Record using MyClasses
This feature allows students upload directly to Canvas, however, this will use up the storage your course has.

If you have the need to restart the recording, select the Restart button towards the right. Once you are satisfied with the recording, select Finish.
You can rename the file type if desired. You do have one more opportunity to do the recording again, however, once satisfied, select Save Media.

Depending on the length of the recording, it will take a while to upload the video to the discussion. Once it finishes, it will appear on the discussion text box. Select Reply to fully upload the video.
