When a course is copied from a previous semester, Classic Quizzes will default to automatically migrate to New Quizzes. When migrating a Classic Quiz with question groups, they become a New Quiz with Item banks.
...
each question group will convert to an individual Item Bank. Item Banks are groups of questions that go together and where all questions that in the Item Bank can be randomly distributed to students when the Item Bank is added to an assessment.
