Deleting or Editing Streams Step-by-Step Guide
Within Panopto, locate the video that you want to manage, move the mouse over the thumbnail image and select Edit.
In the Panopto video editor, select Streams from the left hand menu to reveal all of the different streams included within the video.
Locate the stream you would like to edit or delete and hover over it. Three dots will appear to the right of the stream name. Select the three dots to reveal a drop down menu.
To delete the stream, simply press the Delete option in the drop down menu. To edit the Stream, select Edit from the menu.
On the Edit dialog box, you will prompted with a few options to modify. You can change the name of the selected stream, view the stream and display type, view the length of the selected stream, change the start time of the stream, and change the VR type of the stream, if the stream utilizes VR videos.
Warning: If you delete a stream containing a Youtube video, Link or Quiz, the item will be deleted along with the stream. Any of these items that you wish to keep should be moved to a timestamp that includes a stream that will remain within the final edit.
Downloading a Stream Step-by-Step Guide
To download a stream, you must first go to Settings.
From the left settings menu, select Outputs.
On the Outputs page, you'll notice the Video Podcasts section. From here you can select from the Type drop-down option the desired video type of stream you will download. As you change the drop-down for type, a preview will display for verification before downloading.
If you change the video type or quality, you must click Apply. It may take a few minutes to apply these changes.
Next, select Download Podcast from the right hand side of the Video Podcast section to download your stream.
If you only want to download the audio for a stream, and not the video, refer to the Audio Podcast section underneath the Video Podcast section. Select Download Audio Podcast to download the audio.
