Students with documented accommodations are often allowed for additional attempts on an assessment. Below are instructions on how to provide a student with additional attempts. The quiz can also be made available for a single student to complete an additional attempt without reopening the assignment to all students.

- Within your course, select Quizzes.
- Click on the title of the specific New Quiz assessment.
- After selecting the quiz, click Build in the bottom right corner.
- Then select Moderate from the top right of the upper menu.
- Click Moderate next to the students name who would like to give extra attempts to.
- In the Moderation menu, select the up arrow next to the additional attempts number to give the student extra attempts.
- The student will now have an extra attempt for the quiz.
