Students with documented accommodations are often allowed for additional attempts on an assessment. Below are instructions on how to provide a student with additional attempts. The quiz can also be made available for a single student to complete an additional attempt without reopening the assignment to all students.

  1. Within your course, select Quizzes.
  2. Click on the title of the specific New Quiz assessment.
  3. After selecting the quiz, click Build in the bottom right corner.

  4. Then select Moderate from the top right of the upper menu.

  5. Click Moderate next to the students name who would like to give extra attempts to.

  6. In the Moderation menu, select the up arrow next to the additional attempts number to give the student extra attempts.

  7. The student will now have an extra attempt for the quiz.
