I cannot install Respondus Lockdown Browser or other programs on my Windows 10 S computer

Problem

Cannot install Respondus Lockdown Browser or other programs on Windows 10 S computer that are downloaded from the internet.

Solution

Windows 10 S is a lightweight, economical version of Windows that only allows apps from the Microsoft Store to be installed. Students may need to look into updating their device from the S version OS to Home. You can find more information from Microsoft Windows online.  We highly recommend having the University Bookstore or other paid service assist in any Operating System installation.

Alternatively, we have Respondus Lockdown Browser available on all lab and public computers.  Also laptops are available to be borrowed from the Library Circulation Desk.
