This document details the methods for locating and reviewing the current status within the review process for a submitted task, providing transparency to see where a task is at any given time, who has completed their approvals, actions, or to-dos, and identifying the next person responsible for action.
- The first section, Accessing the View Details Page, addresses how users can learn to whom an open task is routed to immediately after submission.
- The second section, Accessing the My Tasks Archive, describes how to find the current status of a submitted task at any point during the workflow and/or approval process.

Accessing the View Details Page
Once a user successfully completes a task, Workday displays a pop up message with a link to the View Details page, which provides both a record of the task submission, as well as the next steps required (if applicable) for the process.

- Up Next – lists the next approver in the process.
- Details and Processes – provides additional task information when expanded by selecting the down arrow next to the section name.
- Details tab – provides an overview of a user's completed step in a process.
- Process tab – shows completed and upcoming steps in the process.
- Remaining Process button – lists all remaining steps prior to completion of the task.
