After further thought about the ‘Tech” orientation.  I think I have a no additional labor Interim solution.

I would like a one or two page “self-guided” Technology orientation for SU for employees.

I see this as a checklist with a list of technology offerings that we would “orient” a new faculty employee.  Faculty, because I see them as a super set of employee tech.  After each line item ask do you feel proficient in this  Y  or N.

Below the statement put a link to our material they could use for a “self-guided” orientation.

Something like

Microsoft Office 365

Word                                                     Do you feel proficient   Yes ___    No ____

Give the name of a LinkedIN course we would recommend

Teams (video conference)           Do you fee proficient     Yes ___   No ____

Give the name of a LinkedIN Course

Canvas MyClasses   (Learning Management System)

PeopleSoft Campus Solutions

               Time sheet

Advising .. (Whatever we have articles on)

Campus Drives

OneDrive and how to share

Whatever else people typically ask about

I see this as an iterative  process that we can circulate and add to.  This will give us a structured orientation for new hires.

We will obviously need LinkIN Learning access info.

Helpdesk contact Info

How to search the support center info

Put links to our Cyber Security compliance training

Anything else you can think of.
