This guide provides step-by-step guide to create PowerPoint polling questions using PointSolutions Classic Desktop Apps . PointSolutions should be installed on classrooms and labs computers, if you can't locate the application icon on the desktop, search for it using the search box on the computer's task bar.
Starting PointSolutions Classic:
- Double click the PointSolutions App icon
- Click Sign in
- Enter your SU Email
- Enter your SU username and password
If prompted, Authenticate with Duo. - The PointSolutions Dashboard Opens.
From the PS Dashboard, you can open PowerPoint and start creating PointSolutions polling questions using the PointSolutions add-in (before class), or you can start a polling session (during class).
- Click the Start now button for PowerPoint Polling from the Dashboard. PowerPoint will start.
- Start a new presentation or open an existing PowerPoint presentation.
Select the location to add a question slide.
- Click New in the PointSolutions ribbon.
- Select Question Type
- Enter question text in field provided.
- Enter answer text in field(s) provided.
- Select options from the Question Options panel on the right.
- Save and close your presentation.
Slide Types and Slide Preferences
There are several slide/question types available for PowerPoint Polling using PointSolutions Classic App. Each slide type has specific preferences. More information on the available slide types and setting Preferences can be reviewed at the PointSolutions Resources and Support website.
