SU laptops used by faculty and staff are now equipped with Always-On Global Protect VPN. Always-On allows the laptop to function as thou it is on campus even when you are off campus.
If your laptop does not already have Always-On installed please schedule a time to speak with an IT associate by entering a ticket at https://support.salisbury.edu/.
With Always-On you will notice a globe icon in the system tray by your clock(see photo below). This allows your pc to get system updates, access the software center, and view your drives just as you would on campus.
Once you have taken your computer home be sure to connect it to your wireless network and then restart the pc. This will allow it to connect to the Always-On VPN from start up. Always-On requires a network connection either wired or wireless to function.
