The goal of most instructors is to provide information to students in the most direct and straightforward manner possible. The DesignPLUS Toolset makes creating basic content pages easy, allowing you to deliver content in visually appealing formats. 

This video provides a short overview of the tools you might use to create a basic page. Some of the capabilities discussed in the video are covered in other KB articles, which can be accessed in the "Related Articles" section at the bottom of this page.

Creating a New Page

To begin creating exciting pages for your courses, you will first need to create or open a blank page in your course. If you have not done this before, follow these steps:

  1. Open your course. 

    1. Select the Pages link from the main navigation bar.

    2. Click on the “View All Pages button at the top of the Pages section.




  2. Click on the red + Page button in the upper right corner to add a page.

  3. Enter a Page Title in the field in the upper left side of your page.

  4. Save your page by clicking the red “Save” button in the bottom right corner of the page.

  5. Open your page again by clicking the Edit button on the upper right corner.



  6. Open the DesignPLUS Sidebar by clicking on the red rocket in the upper right corner.



  7. Scroll down in the Sidebar to the Getting Started Category.
