Accessing and Interpreting Turnitin Originality Reports

Turnitin Originality Reports can be accessed in MyClasses through SpeedGrader. You can access SpeedGrader for an assignment from multiple places in MyClasses. 

How to interpret the Original Report:

How to Access the Originality Report from SpeedGrader:

  1. To access SpeedGrader from the Gradebook, click on the three vertical dots next to the assignment name and then click on SpeedGrader from the dropdown menu:

    OR
    To access SpeedGrader from the assignment, click the assignment link from your course to go to the Assignment Details page and click SpeeGrader:

    The SpeedGrader link is called out on the assignment detail page




  2. When in SpeedGrader, click on the Turnitin Originality Score next to the document name that the student submitted:




  3. This will open up Turnitin Feedback Studio in a new window where you will see the Originality score, the ETS grammar checker, submission download and receipt options, and the AI Detection score.




  4. Click on the Originality score for a detailed breakdown of how Turnitin is calculating the score from an amalgamation of identified sources:
