Self-Submitting Documents for Review in Turnitin

On occasion you may need to go directly to Turnitin.com to submit a paper for review. Examples might include your writing before submitting for publication, a document for review that is not tied to a MyClasses assignment. To generate an Originality Report for a document outside of the Turnitin, you will need establish a password for your SU email account in MyClasses. Please note: You must access Turnitin in MyClasses prior to setting up your password directly in Turnitin.

Step-by-Step Guide
Navigate to https://turnitin.com and click Login.
If you know your password directly with Turnitin.com, then login. Otherwise, select Forgot Password and reset your password.
Go to your email and establish a password for your Turnitin account.
Return to Turnitin.com and Log In.
On the All Classes tab, select Add Class. Name the "class" based on the project - for example "My Writing Proposals".
One the Class is created, select the class.
Within the class, you will need to create at least one Assignment to upload a document. Select Add Assignment.
Name the "assignment" based on the project - for example "Writing Reviews".
To the right of the assignment title, select the More actions drop-down menu and select Submit.
Add details to identify the submission when you return for the originality report then select the file you want to upload to submit for review.
The select Upload.
Confirm the submission details and select Confirm.
After you submit the file, Turnitin will process it and return an Originality Report. Return back to this assignment and submission to review the report.
