In New Quizzes, existing matching questions may default to a grading option exact match where the learner has to answer everything correctly in order to receive points. Individuals who want to provide partial credit to existing questions can modify the question in Item Banks and/or their assessment using the step by step instructions below.

Adding Partial Credit to Question Guide:

  1. Navigate to your course, and either select Quizzes or Item Banks.

    1. If you select a New Quiz assessment, click on the title and select Build.

    2. If you select Item Banks, use the search option to filter for the appropriate banks.

  2. Locate the desired Matching question and select the Edit icon.
