Attendee Controls in the Zoom Mobile App
When using Zoom on a mobile device, you will have access to a limited set of controls. This article will describe how each works and where to find them. The attendee controls appear at the bottom of your screen, except for Leave meeting which appears at the top-right corner.
- Audio Mute or unmute your microphone.
- Video Start and stop your own video camera.
- Share Start a screen share. You'll be able to select what you want to share:
- Photos: Share a photo from your file manager or photo apps (e.g. Google Photos). Depending on the apps installed on your Android device, you may see different share options.
- Documents: Select a locally stored PDF or image to share it.
- Box, Dropbox, Google Drive, or Microsoft OneDrive,: Select a file to share from the selected file sharing service. You will need to grant Zoom access to your account. Only PDFs and images are supported.
- Website URL: Enter a URL to open a browser and share the website.
- Bookmarks: Share bookmarks stored in the Zoom app.
- Share Whiteboard: Share a whiteboard you can annotate on.
- Participants See who's currently in the meeting. The participants list also gives you access to these options:
- Tap your name if you want to rename yourself.
- Chats: Chat with other participants.
- More Non-verbal feedback icons (if enabled by the host). Tapping an icon will notify the host by placing the icon beside your name in the participants list. For example, the hand icon places the raise hand icon beside your name and simulates a hand raise.
